GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU
God wants you to be saved. God wants to have you be with Him forever. He has a place in Heaven prepared for you. Salvation is deliverance from the penalty and the power of sin. Romans 3:23 says: For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
What is sin? It is any thought, word, or action that violates or falls short of God’s laws. We all sin. None of us can measure up to a sinless, holy God.
What has God done about it? Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth and lived a sinless, perfect life. He died on the cross to pay the price for our sins, because He was the only One who could, and then He rose from the grave to break the power of death and defeat Satan. Romans 5:8 says: But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 6:23 says: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For whom did Christ die? For you, for me, for everyone. John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
How do you receive salvation? Salvation is simple. It is freely given to all who believe in Jesus. All He requires is that we personally place our trust in Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 6:47: He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Romans 10:9-10 says: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 says: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
